I only wish you would spell out in english words like "patah", I have no idea how to spell this as well as the english alphabet way of writing the words we are learning (i.e. aba, ahava, etc) and I'm taking notes so I'm really just sounding it out which I'm sure isn't right with some of these words. Otherwise, these videos are super helpful! Found my way to learning the Hebrew alphabet through a rabbit hole of research and you're making it very easy!

As someone learning Hebrew My mother tongue is Dutch and Turkish but I literally found German harder than Hebrew. I learnt the alphabet within two weeks. Don't worry about the niqqud system they don't use it in daily life. You don't need to know the niqqud by heart so much. If you want to read the Hebrew Bible or something, it is useful to learn it completely by heart, though. After the alphabet, you start with the words. I learn it on Duolingo and to translate the words to Latin script I copy it and have it translated in Chatgpt. Once you know the words you can read it. Making sentences is not difficult either. For example, if for something the answer is no we say in sentences "no" "I don't want" etc but in Hebrew it is only lo. For example: lo, ani lo Yiftach (no. I am not Yiftach). It all seems very complicated but it is very easy
